West Bengal Essential Commodities Supply Corporation Limited

The WBECSC Limited was incorporated by the Government of West Bengal  with an objective of supplying essential commodities in the state with a view of stabilize the market price as well as to ensure the availability of such commodities to the people of the state

 

The name of the Company is West Bengal Essential Commodities Supply Corporation Limited. The Registered Office of the Company is in the State of West Bengal. The Objects for which the Company is established are:-  To engage in, promote, improve, develop, counsel and finance production, purchase, storage, processing, movement, transport, distribution and sales of foodgrains, foodstuffs and other essential commodities and to provide services and assistance of all kind including capital, credit, means, resources and technical and management services, advice and assistance;       

 

To construct, errect, acquire, take on lease or on tenancy warehouse, godowns and sheds for storing and keeping foodgrains, foodstuffs, and essential commodities;     

 

To sell, deliver, distribute foodgrains and essential commodities to the Public in West Bengal or to Government of the Other States in the Union Of India or outside the Union of India.
